No, can't take much credit for this one. This was 'inspired' from an overexposed photograph I saw on Flickr some days ago. Hence the title. Graphite, charcoal and color pencil went into this one.

Have you used Gouache? Its an interesting medium to get whites. This one is good. Inspiration is complimentary you know!

Google Gouache..if you have not already and see if you can find some info around. Its a relatively recent medium and makes life good when using BW. what type of charcoal do you use?
Morf, I use different grades of charcoal sticks - 1, 2, 4 etc - increasing order of blackness. All of them are 'General's Charcoal'.
